Where our diamonds come from
All of our diamonds come from a certified company based in Belgium, founded by a diamond trader who has been in the industry for over 38 years.
Lab diamonds are the result of over one hundred years of scientific research by some of the largest corporations in the world. Our diamonds are not mined and so do not disturb the earth. By definition this makes them non conflict, and a wonderful alternative for the socially and environmentally conscious.
Our engagement diamonds run between .3 and 2 carats. If there's a specific size your looking for that we don't have listed, send us an email and we can work on a bespoke order for you.
A typical diamond color scale ranges from D-K, D being colorless and K having slight color. We only carry colors D-G to ensure that your diamond is as perfect and clear as possible.
The clarity scale ranges from IF - I3, flawless to included. Our diamonds are all in the very very slightly included (VS1) range which are excellent quality and make for the sparkliest of diamonds.
The benefits of lab-grown diamonds over mined diamonds
The only difference between a lab grown diamond and a natural diamond are their point of origin. Lab grown diamonds are chemically, physically, and visually the exact same as diamonds that are mined from the Earth.
Natural diamond mining has caused environmental devastation. Irresponsible mining causes severe damage to the land which is being used. This can lead to soil erosion, deforestation, and relocation of local communities due to lack of natural resources (amongst many other issues).
Because lab diamonds have the same physical, chemical, and optical properties as mined diamonds, they offer the same brilliance and beauty as mined diamonds.
Lab diamonds are a more cost friendly option. This is due to a shorter supply chain, but leads to the price of the diamond being between 20%-30% less (specifically to the diamonds we use). So you can enjoy your conflict free diamond for a better price.
Lab diamonds are ethically sourced. Although brutal civil wars due to natural diamond mining have ended, the diamond industry is rife with unfair practices such as child labour, human rights violations, dangerous working conditions, and forced labour.
By a carat of a lab diamond, you're saving 250 tons of earth, 120 gallons of water, and 64.8 kgs of carbon dioxide.
